If you’ve ever crossed paths with Anudari Krick, you’ll know her for two things: her creative spark and her calm under pressure. Since April 2024, she’s been one of Cocoon’s Casa Managers, guiding everything from intimate wedding receptions to fast-paced media productions with the same mix of adaptability and focus. When she’s not on-site at a Cocoon booking, you’ll find her lending a hand on shoots around the city or pouring energy into her own artistic practice. A Journey Back to New York
For Anudari, New York isn’t just another stop — it’s home. After six years in Los Angeles exploring the West Coast, she felt the pull of the city’s rhythm again. “It’s more of a ‘coming back’ story,” she explains. “I was in LA for six years exploring what the West Coast had to offer, but nothing beats coming back to a vitality I get to call home.”
That vitality is what fuels her work as a Cocoon Casa Manager. The city’s constant movement mirrors the pace of her days, shifting between city events, creative shoots, and artistic projects of her own. It’s this blend of personal creativity and professional adaptability that makes her a steady yet dynamic presence at every booking.

Why did Anudari choose Cocoon?
What first drew Anudari to Cocoon was the beauty and variety of the spaces themselves. “The sheer beauty of the Casas! They range in such scope and variety. It’s amazing how much transformation and possibility each one holds,” she says.
That sense of transformation is what continues to inspire her day to day. For Anudari, the difference lies in how Cocoon manages to oversee multiple media productions, private events, and corporate events at once, without losing focus on the details that matter.
“The ability of Cocoon to be everywhere, managing multiple locations and productions, without sacrificing comprehensive detail and attention. The Operations team in particular is excellent.”
What Makes Cocoon Different
For Anudari, the strength of Cocoon lies not only in its casas but in the way the team operates behind the scenes. “The Operations team in particular is excellent,” she notes — a detail she sees reflected in how smoothly bookings run, no matter the scale.
It’s also the variety that keeps her engaged. “It’s something different quite literally everyday,” she shares. “You get to aid in the transformation of these beautiful spaces for all sorts of contexts (events, commercials, photo shoots, etc). Hidden pockets of New York that hold a memorable wedding reception one night and a major commercial shoot another day. It’s never the same!”

Favorite Casas, Dream Bookings, and Memorable Experiences
Ask Anudari to pick a favorite casa, and her answer comes quickly: Casa Caeli. “It’s such a versatile, airy home with great energy. Somehow both calming and energizing. Love all the film references throughout!” she says.
And it’s no wonder why. Tucked in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Casa Caeli is a 3,000 square-foot penthouse loft designed with warm, contemporary minimalism. Its open two-floor layout is bathed in natural light, framed by panoramic views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines.
She also recalls a heartfelt moment at Casa Duende, where she supported a family-centered wedding reception. “It was a family affair with multiple adorable children running around. The couple looked radiant and you could tell they were having a special evening. I’m glad I could be a part of that!”
When asked about dream bookings, her imagination leans cinematic. “Maybe an indie film shoot at Casa Cometa. A nice temporary leave from the city and I’d be curious to see how the space’s scenic quality could be used for storytelling.” And if she had the chance, she’d love to manage at Casa Maxima too — “The pink walls! The drama! The playfulness!”
One of her favorite behind-the-scenes memories also comes from Casa Caeli, during a film shoot where the props department worked their magic. “They were able to make a number of props on-site along with the pre-made props they brought, it was amazing to see how they were able to remake the same areas using different props for different scenes. It was like watching the living room get turned into a live theater set!”
Pro Tips from an Event Coordinator
With experience across a wide range of bookings, Anudari has learned how the right details can make or break a day. She shares a few of her go-to tips for location scouts and managers:
- For media productions: “It’s important to be mindful of what your day-of equipment requirements are, how many flights of stairs your crew will need to travel for set-up if there’s no elevator, oftentimes more crew members means faster, safer load-in to maximize your shooting time.”
- For offsite meetings: “Be mindful of where windows are and what kind of light quality/light options are available to you in the space for the meeting! The lighting capacities can really help set the tone you want.”
- For private events: “What are the music/sound requirements needed for the event? Certain casas have extensive sound systems in place, others will require a familiarity with Sonos, or you might want to fine tune your own set-up!”
- For corporate events: “It’s best to be able to locate a number of different areas within the space for different activities. Is there a rooftop available for early socializing? Can a bedroom or hallway be used for coat check? Will you need a dance section? Where can merch/gift bags be displayed?”
- For showrooms: “Understanding the look and vibe of the brand you’re representing will help narrow down what Casa will best meet your aesthetic needs. Do you need something minimalist? Or something more lived-in and cozy?”
Her advice reflects the versatility of the casas themselves, and the adaptability needed to ensure every event runs smoothly.

Lessons Learned and Takeaways
Being a Cocoon Casa Manager means thinking on your feet, and for Anudari, that’s been one of the most valuable lessons. “The ability to quickly troubleshoot and address issues/concerns as they arise. Casa-managing has upped my problem-solving game and for that I’m grateful!”
She’s also learned the importance of leaning on the community. “A lot of the unexpected things that happen are unexpected, last minute accommodations. In those moments, it’s valuable to be able to draw on the knowledge of the greater community/surrounding neighborhood to see what resources can be made available swiftly without losing convenience.”
And sometimes, it’s the people that leave the strongest impression. She gravitates toward tight-knit productions, where collaboration is felt in every moment. “You’re quickly bonded with a close team and the ‘we’re in this together’ dynamic is palpable and meaningful.”

Why Renters Benefit from Casa Managers
For Anudari, the role of a Casa Manager comes down to presence. Being on-site means she can anticipate needs, troubleshoot in real time, and make sure the energy of an event stays focused on the people, not the logistics. She’s seen entire casas transformed in a matter of hours, from a blank canvas into a full media production set, or into the atmosphere of a glowing wedding reception, only to be restored back to their original state by the end of the night.
Her approach is about more than coordination; it’s about balance. She ensures renters feel supported, neighbors remain respected, and the casas themselves are treated with the care they deserve. Whether it’s a corporate event, a private gathering, or a showroom activation, Anudari believes that on-site event support gives teams the freedom to focus on their goals while she handles the details in the background.
Anudari’s Cocoon Impact
Adaptable, creative, and unshakably focused, that’s the presence Anudari brings to every booking. For her, the joy is in the unpredictability.
That mix of detail and adaptability has made her an essential part of the Cocoon Casa Manager team, trusted by clients across media productions, offsite meetings, corporate events, private events, and showrooms. She thrives on the pace of New York, where no two days are alike and every casa has the potential to be transformed.
