About Casa Cometa
Inspired to create a strong connection between the home and the nature around it, the property owner – who is also the architect for this home – knew instantly that he wanted to incorporate the rock into the design and build around it.
The entire home – from the materials used to the way elements of nature are integrated throughout – was developed with careful consideration of its impact on the environment. The property owner also used Fibonacci’s golden ratio to inform all the different proportions in the design of the home, resulting in not just a stunning property but also one where all the different spaces feel congruous.
Casa Cometa features a massive 14-acre lot that includes the home, an impromptu soccer field, a campsite with an airstream, and tons of natural outdoor space. The home itself features 4 bedrooms including a 2 story loft with kitchenette, 3 bathrooms and 1 powder room, and a large open area that connects the kitchen, dining room, and main living space.
Cometa’s wide open layout, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sun-drenched floor plan make it ideal for productions, corporate and private events, and showrooms. The space’s serene, rustic views and natural elements also make it perfect for offsite meetings.

Casa Cometa is located on the ground floor. Access to the upper floor is by stairs only. Please enquire with our team for a video of the entrance and access.
Artwork
Our goal is always to help you accomplish your vision and that includes allowing you to move specific items around for the perfect shot or to accommodate your guests the way you want for your meeting, event, or showroom. Please note all art moving must be approved by our team, and many pieces can only be moved by professional art handlers (which we can coordinate). Some pieces may not be moveable. If your shoot requires consideration for the artwork (clearance or removal), we kindly request that you verify with our team in advance.

General
What is included in my quote?
Your custom quote will include the space rental based on your rental activity and number of guests, as well as a standard cleaning fee and a Casa Manager fee. We will send you the quote prior to booking the space.
What's the venue address?
We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets for reference.
How do you calculate your pricing?
Our pricing is tiered based on two main factors: your guest count and the type of booking (production, meeting, event, or showroom). As the number of guests go up, the hourly rate will slightly increase. The starting rates may also vary based on the type of booking. All variations in pricing is to dark ensure that all risks and management are covered in proportion to the complexity and size of your booking. We will always disclose all fees associated for you to review prior to confirming a booking with you.
Do I need a certificate of insurance?
Yes – we require a COI for all productions, offsite meetings, and events. For Private Events, our Booking Team can assist you in obtaining a cost-effective COI for your event. We have worked extensively with a couple of online platforms that offer reliable and reasonably-priced Certificates of Insurance. As the person renting a space, you will have a series of legal responsibilities by default such as preventing any personal injury or property damage liabilities. Having a COI can help you protect yourself against potential liabilities as a space renter.
About the Space
Is the space ADA accessible?
Unfortunately, this Casa is not ADA accessible. Please inquire with our team and we can direct you to other venues.
Can I schedule a space visit?
Yes – we will be more than happy to show you the space before you confirm your reservation. Make sure to discuss days and times that work for you with your Booking Manager, and they will make sure to arrange a site visit with someone from the team.
What footwear do you recommend for the outdoor terrain?
The view is spectacular, but the terrain is rough so we strongly recommend hard-soled shoes with traction while you’re outside and indoor shoes for inside.
Is there a grill available for use?
Yes – a Weber charcoal grill is available outside for guests. We do ask that you give us prior notice before using the grill, so we can ensure it’s ready for you.
Can I leave behind trash & recycling?
Unfortunately, there is no trash & recycling pick-up at this location, so it must be taken with you. There is a local station that can accept trash & recycling within a certain timeframe and we can recommend instructions on how to get there.
Can the furniture and art be moved?
Moving furniture, decor, and artwork is permitted only in the presence of the Casa Manager, and previously approved by the Operations Team, as some items may be delicate and at risk of damage. Additionally, some high-profile art pieces in Casa Antigua require specialized Art Handlers for safe moving and storage. If you’re planning to move any artwork or to make significant layout changes, please notify our Operations team to ensure proper planning.
Can I use the fireplace?
The fireplace in the living area is made of polished brass and is a beautiful feature of the space, but it is not available for use.

Is there a TV or Projector onsite?
There is no television or projector on site, although we have one TV that we can make available upon previous request.
Is there a stereo system available for use?
Yes – Casa Cometa is equipped with a stereo system that includes a record player.
What is the cell phone reception like at Casa Cometa?
Cell reception is generally good at Casa Cometa for guests with Spectrum or Verizon service. For other carriers, reception may vary depending on your location within the property.
Is there Wi-Fi available at Casa Cometa?
Yes – Casa Cometa is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.
Do you have central AC and heating?
The house operates on a geothermal heating and cooling system.
