Designed by renowned architect Annabelle Selldorf, Casa Exímia is a masterpiece in modern architectural design, mixing exhibitionist design and rustic interior elements. Most of this breathtaking space is sun-kissed with direct access to the five acres of outdoor land and nature.

Space Access
Casa Exímia is located on the ground floor, with bathrooms easily accessible on this level. Access to the upper floor and basement is via stairs only. We can provide a video walkthrough of the stairs for your convenience.
Artwork
Our goal is always to help you accomplish your vision and that includes allowing you to move specific items around for the perfect shot or to accommodate your guests the way you want for your meeting, event, or showroom. Please note all art moving must be approved by our team, and many pieces can only be moved by professional art handlers (which we can coordinate). Some pieces may not be moveable. If your shoot requires consideration for the artwork (clearance or removal), we kindly request that you verify with our team in advance.
Transportation
Casa Exímia is located just an 8-minute drive from the American Hotel. Due to the lack of nearby bus stops or subway stations, we recommend reaching out to our team for guidance on the most suitable transportation options. The closest bus stop is approximately a 10-minute drive away.
We also offer transportation coordination for you and your guests, so please reach out to our Operations team if you need assistance.

General
What is included in my quote?
Your custom quote will include the space rental based on your rental activity and number of guests, as well as a standard cleaning fee and a Casa Manager fee. We will send you the quote prior to booking the space.
What's the venue address?
We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets for reference.
How do you calculate your pricing?
Our pricing is tiered based on two main factors: your guest count and the type of booking (production, meeting, event, or showroom). As the number of guests go up, the hourly rate will slightly increase. The starting rates may also vary based on the type of booking. All variations in pricing is to dark ensure that all risks and management are covered in proportion to the complexity and size of your booking. We will always disclose all fees associated for you to review prior to confirming a booking with you.
Do I need a certificate of insurance?
Yes – we require a COI for all productions, offsite meetings, and events. For Private Events, our Booking Team can assist you in obtaining a cost-effective COI for your event. We have worked extensively with a couple of online platforms that offer reliable and reasonably-priced Certificates of Insurance. As the person renting a space, you will have a series of legal responsibilities by default such as preventing any personal injury or property damage liabilities. Having a COI can help you protect yourself against potential liabilities as a space renter.
About the Space
Is the space ADA accessible?
Unfortunately, Casa Exímia is not ADA accessible. Please inquire with our team and we can direct you to other venues.
Can I use the kitchen for prepping and cooking?
Absolutely! Please, make sure to communicate usage of the kitchen to your Booking Manager so we make sure everything is ready to go when you check-in the property.
Can I use the pots and pans?
Yes – Please communicate with your Booking Manager about a list of all available kitchen amenities. Our Team can coordinate simple and inexpensive rentals for you if what you need is not available on-site.
Is cooking allowed?
All furniture, kitchenware, and appliances can be used as props, and cooking is allowed.
Do you provide catering or additional rentals and services?
Yes, we can coordinate full catering for your booking. Our Concierge team can also help you coordinate additional rentals or activities for your event or offsite, or coffee and snacks for the crew. We work with a hyper-diverse pool of local vendors, for varying budgets. It’s part of our mission.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, there is a swimming pool on the property that can be heated upon request. The pool area includes four lounge chairs for relaxation.
Can the pool be heated?
Yes, the swimming pool can be heated upon request.
Can the furniture and art be moved?
Moving furniture, decor, and artwork is permitted only in the presence of the Casa Manager, and previously approved by the Operations Team, as some items may be delicate and at risk of damage. Additionally, certain high-profile art pieces may require specialized Art Handlers for safe moving and storage. If you’re planning to move any artwork or to make significant layout changes, please notify our Operations team to ensure proper planning.
Can I schedule a space visit?
Yes – we will be more than happy to show you the space before you confirm your reservation. Make sure to discuss days and times that work for you with your Booking Manager, and they will make sure to arrange a site visit with someone from the team.
Will I have access to the outdoor space?
Yes, with your rental, you will be able to access the pool and all outdoor areas.
Do you offer transportation assistance?
Yes, we coordinate transportation for you and your guests. Please reach out to us if you need assistance.
Are there blackout blinds for the living room and bedrooms?
Yes, there are manual blackout blinds in each window unit for the bedrooms.
There are no blackout blinds for the living room, but we can coordinate the rental of blackouts for your booking if needed.
Is there a grill available?
Yes, there is a working grill located on the patio for your use.
Are there lounge chairs available by the pool?
Yes, the pool area includes four lounge chairs for your comfort.
A/V and Tech
What audio equipment is available?
The living room features a portable iPod dock with speakers and an AUX cord connection. Additionally, there is a large portable speaker that connects to any iPhone—simply plug your device into the system for seamless playback.
Can I use the large speaker outdoors?
Yes, the large speaker located next to the fireplace in the living room can be plugged in and used by the pool area.
Is there a projector in the space?
No, there are no projectors in this space, but our Concierge team can coordinate all AV and tech rentals you may need.
Is there internet access?
Yes, Casa Exímia offers high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property.
How many TVs are available?
There are a total of four TVs in the property: one in the basement, one in the living room, and two in the upstairs bedrooms.
What are the heating and cooling options?
Each room is equipped with thermostats for your comfort, allowing you to adjust the heating and cooling as needed.
