About Casa Luz
Step into Casa Luz, a luminous 3,500 sq. ft. Soho loft where natural light, 15-foot ceilings, and exposed brick set the tone for creativity. Housed in a historic 1910 building, Casa Luz spans up to two rentable floors, each blending industrial character and contemporary warmth. Designed by Marcelle Frey and Lorena Pinzon, the space invites productions, brand activations, and private gatherings to unfold against a timeless downtown backdrop.
With its open-concept layout, architectural columns, and dark and light wood floors, Casa Luz is a versatile canvas for any vision, from a gallery showcase to an intimate dinner. The interiors feel distinctly Soho: refined yet raw, historic yet adaptable.
Modern amenities make Casa Luz as functional as it is beautiful. The space is equipped with high-speed WiFi, a professional sound system, central AC and heating, and a passenger elevator for seamless access. Our goal is always to help you accomplish your vision and that includes allowing you to move specific items around for the perfect shot or to accommodate your guests the way you want for your meeting, event, or showroom. Please note all art moving must be approved by our team, and many pieces can only be moved by professional art handlers (which we can coordinate). Some pieces may not be moveable. If your shoot requires consideration for the artwork (clearance or removal), we kindly request that you verify with our team in advance.

General
What is included in my quote?
Your custom quote will include the space rental based on your rental activity and number of guests, as well as a standard cleaning fee and a Casa Manager fee. We will send you the quote prior to booking the space.
What's the venue address?
We will provide the location of the space once a space visit has been organized or the booking has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can provide the cross streets for reference.
How do you calculate your pricing?
Our pricing is tiered based on two main factors: your guest count and the type of booking (production, meeting, event, or showroom). As the number of guests go up, the hourly rate will slightly increase. The starting rates may also vary based on the type of booking. All variations in pricing is to dark ensure that all risks and management are covered in proportion to the complexity and size of your booking. We will always disclose all fees associated for you to review prior to confirming a booking with you.
Do I need a certificate of insurance?
Yes – we require a COI for all productions, offsite meetings, and events. For Private Events, our Booking Team can assist you in obtaining a cost-effective COI for your event. We have worked extensively with a couple of online platforms that offer reliable and reasonably-priced Certificates of Insurance. As the person renting a space, you will have a series of legal responsibilities by default such as preventing any personal injury or property damage liabilities. Having a COI can help you protect yourself against potential liabilities as a space renter.

Are the art pieces cleared?

Is there an elevator and/or freight elevator?
Casa Luz has a passenger elevator, no freight elevator.
Do you have door measurements?
Yes, we have measurements for all doors. Please consult our team for specifics.
Can I move art pieces?
Art moving must be approved by our team, and some pieces may need to be moved by professional art handlers (which we can coordinate). If your shoot requires consideration for the artwork or if you have specific shots planned that may involve moving art pieces, we kindly request that you verify the feasibility of moving them, and the current status of the art pieces with us in advance and/or arrange for a preliminary scout.
What are the sizes of each floor?
Each floor is about 3,500 sq ft
How many bathrooms do you have in the space?
Casa Luz has commercial-style bathrooms on each floor.
What are the parking options?
Casa Luz has access to paid on-site parking and nearby parking lots.
Is this space ADA accessible?
Yes, Casa Luz is ADA-compliant with street-level entrance and accessible for wheelchair/handicapped.
Do you provide catering or additional rentals and services?
Yes, we can coordinate full catering for your booking. Our Concierge team can also help you coordinate additional rentals or activities for your event or offsite, or coffee and snacks for the crew. We work with a hyper-diverse pool of local vendors, for varying budgets. It’s part of our mission.
Can I book individual floors or multiple floors together?
Casa Luz offers two rentable floors, each approximately 3,500 square feet. The floors can be rented individually or together for a combined total of approximately 7,000 square feet, subject to availability.
Do you have a kitchen onsite?
Casa Luz doesn’t have a kitchen on site. Our Concierge team can help coordinate catering for your booking, including coffee and snacks for your crew. We work with a hyper-diverse pool of local vendors suitable for varying budgets. It’s part of our mission.
Can I schedule a space visit?
Yes – we will be more than happy to show you the space before you confirm your reservation. Make sure to discuss days and times that work for you with your Booking Manager, and they will make sure to arrange a site visit with someone from the team.
